The Nursery!!! (oh and Day 3)

NURSERY:

So...Dave and I live in a townhouse. It is amazing. We went from our 600sq/ft condo to this house that has over 1700 sq/ft and a garage! :) We live on the end unit so we have the entire side yard for the dogs...and parties...or whatever! SO MUCH space!

The layout is as followed....park your car in or in front of the garage...walk in house...it is a mudroom, and long hallway with utility closet...or you can use the garage...aka man town. Then you go up the stairs into the kitchen...the half bath andddd the living room (where there the front door)...and then you go up the stairs again to the second floor where there is two bedrooms, one full bath with the laundry closet, and there is a linen closet in the hall....THEN up the stairs again to our bedroom and closet...(which is huge).

Well...the nursery is going to be where my office was. Right before you walk up the stairs to go to our bedroom, to the left is a little room...that is in the front of the house...so we have to put up blackout shades, but it is the warmest, smallest room...aka...A's room!!!!

So we did emptied the room...moved furniture...cleaned the carpets...anddd well....it's EMPTY...I will have to take pictures today of Dave building the crib!! :)

SHE IS COMING FOLKS...YES SHE IS...VERY SOON!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Can you tell we are excited?)

DAY 3:

Sorry for such a long post...I was just soo excited to tell you all about our progress!

Next Dave has to stain the furniture to match the crib...bring down the glider...anddddd we need to have this baby shower so I can finish getting ready for Miss.A!

I love kid movies. I made Dave see Despicable me...and really any kid movie I have seen.

I love the ABC or Lifetime movies as well. You know...the really dramatic ones...Dave just shakes his head and leaves the room!!!!!! :)

And I love seeing and going to the movies...we always do...every weekend we have one that we pick. I will see what Dave wants and then the next weekend he will see one of mine!

AND Tim McGraw has stolen my heart with "Just to see you smile" and when he sings my wedding song "My Best Friend" I still sob like a baby! (I can not find the video on YouTube for these...so I don't know if there are any...but you can hear them there for sure!)

Just another MANIC Tuesday???

So have you been over to:

WELL you should, because while yes...I love being pregnant...and I know most of you love being moms to babies, furbabies...and well...even your husband/boyfriends/girlfriends....there comes a time when everyone needs to complain.

Yes...I said it...complain...pshhh I know you all want to!

I will start off by saying that this weekend I got to experience some reallllly fun things:

• Heartburn...so bad that I wanted to puke. Did puke. Felt the same. Kept me up all night. DID NOT SLEEP.
• Had a baby kick me VERY hard in all of my organs. Keep her feet/bum/head WHATEVER in positions that did NOT let me get comfortable.. Some in which Dave even said...IS SHE TRYING TO COME THREW YOUR SKIN?!?!?!
• Had my gums bleed...yes...my gums..WHAT???!!?? Awesome.
  
• Had my ankles swell.
• Had two charlie-horses...yep...BOTH LEGS at the SAME TIME...seriously...(this was the same night that I had the heartburn).
• Anddddddddd just could not sleep (did I mention that)?

SO...those are my complaints...I know that I "shouldn't" complain...but seriously. The first trimester into the second I was nauseous and puked daily....the second into the third I had such bad ligament stretching I was nauseous and puking from...and now the third....heartburn....AND NO SLEEP? MY POOOOR husband. I feel bad for him.

The doctor reassured me...everything is normal. Pain is normal. Pressure....NORMAL...Heartburn however....she gave me some stuff :)

I hope you enjoyed my rant....(OH and btw...We are 33 weeks TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Dave felt her move...like I mentioned earlier...and he is SO excited to meet her...he actually said "I can't wait until she is here". This makes me feel so great. He is going to be an amazing father. I am very happpppy that he is all mine. well, and hers....)

AND today is a mini anniversary for Dave and I...it was 6 years ago today...at 9:35pm that Dave asked me to be his "girlfriend"... He just called now (9:35 and asked me again) LOVE HIM! :)

Getting to Know YOU

So...I am looking to get out and BLOG more...really...

I haven't blogged in a bit (or a few days that is)
....and so I found this cute segment called .....

SOOO I am going to answer the questions for today....and they are:

1. Thong or Granny Panties? Pregnant or not....I like the granny panties...lol...well, not the huge granny panties...but the ones that have a full bum...but they are "bikini" style...they have little straps on the sides!

2. If you see a guy with his fly down, do you tell him? I don't think I've ever noticed. But when my husband's is down...I tell him.

3. Spanx or no Spanx? I don't think I've ever even seen spanx? I don't have any.

4. Do you sleep in your sheets? Yes, I sleep in my sheets...

5. What is your favorite Disney character? I really love Cinderella! :)

6. Dream vacation spot? I would love to go to Aussie with Dave....or Hawaii

7. What is your dream job? I have only ever wanted to be a MOM! :)

8. Who is your hero and why? I don't really have one. There were people that I used to look up to, but I no longer have them in my life.

There is NO MORE room A...

I am 32 weeks right?! (Why, yes...yes I am)

People look at me and ask when I'm due, but are in shock when I say "September". Maybe it's because I don't look all that big? But they always say "ohh..so soon?" As more of a question!

Anyways, I may not "look" big, but I feel like Miss. A doesn't have enough room in there to move.

I can't really breath, sleep, or even really "eat" lately. And when I'm sitting to do anything (drive) she is all squashed...and it physically hurts! I had to pull off the highway, get out of my car...and walk around the Dunkin Donuts parking lot to get her to move this morning.

Should this be a concern? Is this normal?

JUST freaking out...don't mind me...

This is a newwww type of post...it's called.....Tell It Like it Is Tuesday...where you can find otherrrr moms (and moms to be..pshhh...) telling it like it is...


So as you all know...we are having a baby...yeah, what gave it away?! If you didn't know, well, you're obviously LOST! LOL! :) I am jk...helllooo and welcome...I'm Stephanie and I'm pregnant!

But anyways I'm sort of...full out...FREAKING OUT! We are 32 weeks pregnant today! THIRTY-TWO. HOLY CRAP. What the heck am I doing!?!?!? I'm so worried! I am crying over the silliest things, freaking out about making ends meet (just medical bills, the diapers, other expenses...like the things I can't control because I don't know what is going to happen), what if I don't know what to do when she crys!? What if she always crys? What if we don't get everything I need from the shower? What if I just get tons of blankets?!? Or JUST all newborn stuff, and she's too big for them (aka too long...the dr said she has super long legs).

See...these "what if's" are DRIVING me LOONEY! Seriously! Dave has been a work-a-holic because I'm probably "too much" to handle, and I'm always on the verge of tears!!!!!!!

Ahhhhh! Well..that's that. I will update this "week" later...for now, I'm just going to freak out... :/

Baby A (survey for the week)

I forgot to do a 31 week post this week!

WHOOPS! It has been a fun week (relaxing...)! NOT ONLY did I get to spend A LOT of time with the husband (which is always amazing), I got to spend time with old friends and even some new friends (Alyssa blog friend turned real life friend, who I hope not to scare away...seriously...I hope she doesn't frighten easily).

So...here is a newish survey thinger that I found on one of the websites I follow for pregnancy!

*Natural or Medicated childbirth? Natural hopefully, but hopefully without anyone getting too mad at me for posting this...but I am not against getting some help. I want this to be as easy as possible.

*How are you feeling right about now? Tired! A hasn't let me SLEEP! She was in such a strange position lately I haven't been able to do anything but sit straight up!

*What was the first thing you bought for baby? We bought a onsie.

*Do you feel you are ready to have a baby? Yes, I am overwhelmed with everything, but I am preparing for the worst...a fussy collic baby...and praying for the best!

*Are you excited or scared about delivery? A WHOLE LOTTA CRAPTASTIC SCARED!

*Anything you loved before that you absolutely cannot eat anymore? Yes... hummus...

*What do you miss most before learning you were preggo? There is nothing that I miss.

*Will you be getting a 3D/4D Ultrasound? Yes OUR 2nd ROUND IS TOMORROW! WISH US LUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So that is it...I will keep you updated (OH and for my last post...I finally did decide to block that girl on facebook...I don't need people like that in my life. I only need positive influences). Thank you for all your advice! It was really helpful. I should not worry so much about what other people think about me...but you know...it's hard to do! I can say it as much as I want...but trying to do that is difficult...BUT I WILL TRY REALLY HARD!

3D/4D photos...and BELLY shot

So she has Dave's chin, My full lips...and the BEST CHUBBBYYYY CHEEKS!!! :) She is going to be a chunk-a-monk! I am so excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

She did not cooperate as much as we would have liked, she was eating her hands...and rubbing her face...soooo we will be going back Saturday a.m. to hope she is not SMOOSHING herself against the placenta (again)....

So...there are some GREAT guesses, but her name STILL has not been guessed yet! *really there are TONS of great names on that list!*

HERE IS ANOTHER CLUE: It starts with an A and enddds with an A.

Dave and I are really happy with the name that we have chosen. And the few people that we have told a. think it is beautiful. b. LOVE the meaning behind the name. and c. can't wait to meet her! (Alyssa...you still can't guess...LOL)

Don't forget....we wanted a name that was special (so it is a bit unique, but found in ALL baby books), we wanted a name that we would be able to use part as a nickname, but that when she is older her name would be and sound professional!

OH.....andddd we are SOOOOOO excited for our 3d/4d Ultra-Sound today! She has been awake every single day around 3pm so wish us luck we get to finally see what our baby girl looks like!

Baby Fun...andddd maybe some more "A" info

So...you all know A as "A". BUT I didn't know if anyone would want to guess her name? Dave and I want to tell everyone soon...probably around the shower...because a few people have actually asked me if I could tell them due to gifts that they are going to be giving us! SO go ahead and guess! I will email the winner! :) AND post her name IF the correct name was guessed. (Alyssa...you are not allowed to guess...)

I have my Kate Spade Baby bag...but I think I am going to be purchasing a new L.L.Bean bag...I have a tote that I love...well...I use EVERY week...it's amazing. I also have a backpack from them as well. AND I think that A needs her own tote! I can make it any color I want. Probably get the medium sized, with the zipper, but with the longer handle. I will get a neutral color, and probably a mulberry color for the straps and bottom. We will also be getting her named monogrammed on the bag.


How Far Along? 30 weeks

Total Weight Gained/Loss? 13lbs. I am and have been worried about the weight gain. I don't want to gain too much. I also don't want to gain too little either. Today at the appt, the doctor said that things are progressing perfectly. She loves that I am measuring RIGHT on. :)

Maternity Clothes? If you read my Twitter you have even seen my new bra! LOL. I love my clothes. They are basically ribbed tanks, built in bra tanks, shorts, capris and some dresses. I have recently bought some more bras. I have three sleeping bras (one is size s, one m and one l) for nursing. My new bras are larges, they are sport bra/nursing bras...they are comfy, and it's not that I need the "large" for my breast size...just my back, etc.

Sleep? Is getting harder to find a more comfortable position. I don't mind the moving at all. She is so silly. I feel like she is doing dance moves in there!

Best Moment of the Week? Someone told me that I was the cutest pregnant person they had ever seen! :)

Movement? All the time! :)

Food Cravings? I am actually not hungry. I told my doctor this today. She said it is the heat. I have been staying hydrated, and eating dove bars! They are amazing!

Food aversions? All food. BUT I will be fine!

Morning sickness? None.

Gender? A is still team PINK

Belly Button? It is out. Fully out. No longer flat...but OUT

What I miss: I don't miss anything. I am so excited to have A! We both spend HOURS talking about her every single day!

What I'm looking forward to: The crib coming in!!! We have our 3d/4d ultrasound Monday....I can't wait to see what she is going to look like!

Milestones? We passed our 3hr Gestational Diabetes test.

OUCH!

OUCH!!!! A is HURTING me...I can feel her over by my left hip and on the right side of my bellybutton!!! Please moooovvveeee!!!

It's been like this all day!!!

How can I "nicely" get her to skiddadle out of there????

Also...baby is WIDE awake at 3...and has been for the past few days! Let's hope she stays in this sleep cycle for next Monday the 12th for our 3d/4d ultrasound!!!!!

4th of July & STUFF

It was an amazing weekend! AH-MAYYYYY-zinggggggg!

We went to Old Orchard beach and literally stayed ON the beach...well a condo on the beach. It was so nice! Just a 10 step walk and we were in the sand! I was in the water (not under), and under an umbrella the whole time! We even walked to the pier and had ice cream!!! (And went to the pier again for breakfast and lunch).

And although I went to bed at 10:30, and Dave stayed up and out until 2...I was still exhausted the 4th...so we missed the fireworks so I could get home to bed...

I'm 30 weeks preggo today! And I'm not sure about any of you but my mood swings are back! Yup crying, getting angry, etc is full force!! (Poorrr Dave). Only 10 weeks until our due date!!!

So that's it for now...I will email/update again later (blogging from my blackberry is a bit difficult) with some pictures!!! :) (of me, dave anddddd my belly)

EVERYBODYSSSS WORKING FOR THE WEEEKENDDDDD.....

Well, no, not so much for me...if you count doctors appointment, meeting up with friends...anddddd sitting on my....butttttt...then sure...but I am LOOKING FORWARD to this weekend! And seeing Dave. It's been a LONG week. I have missed him VERY much.

So this week I saw Eclipse with the girls. It was good. It was not "the best". I feel like they missed important pieces...but how can you take such a big book and make a movie out of it...seriously...it is hard to do...so with that...I can say honestly that it was good.

This weekend we are headed up to Old Orchard Beach (it's in Maine only like an hour drive from our house). We are staying in a condo right on the beach (pictures of me...aka beached whale, and of the gorgeous condo to follow in a post or two). It is my almost brother-in-laws...soooo that will be interesting *he's the one that Dave doesn't really like...well, he likes him as a person, butttt not as his sisters husband*...Nobody is good enough for his sisters.

BABY NEWSSSS....Baby A has been TONs of fun this week. She is moving and grooving ALL of the time...and when I say all of the time...I mean it! :) Here is a picture offff my ever growing baby belly at 29weeks 3days...

Don't mind the UNmatchiness of this outfit...seriously...I had a white tank on with these yoga pants...butttttt it was kind of cold out last night when I brought the dogs out..andddd that is when I decided best to take a picture of my belly and send it to Dave...


AND that is it...*oh that and I've decided to write a book. Yup, a book. I've already started. It is a blog...so when it is ready orrrr when I feel like it...I shall share it. (it's private now, only I can read it).
