Hmmm

Did you ever deal with friends that ignore you? And you have NO idea why?

I had a g/f who has been ignoring me. I asked her what was up...turns out she was mad at me! Way to be passive aggressive!

I talked to her about it and it was over not sending her child an Easter card (I am a crazy card lady and didn't send out any this Easter...I've been too busy); and she's upset that I haven't had anytime for her.

With my family, work, school, licensure tests (and studying), and renovating the house who has time?

I just wish she would have said something instead of ignoring me. My feelings are and were hurt. We are good friends. Friends talk!!!!!

She is my moms friends daughter... So you know my mom is involved...and her mom... So now I'm suckered into a girls night with all of them...fun...and yes I am excited...but I just really have no time! Next week I will...but this week renovations need to be completed!

So what do I do? Was I wrong to confront her?

  1. One of my best friends just wrote to me yesterday to say she's hurt and ignoring me because I sent her a communal Christmas card instead of a hand written one!

    1. Thanks. I have other friends who do this too. I just wish they would just tell me what's up.

  3. I've had this same thing happen to me. She wasn't mad at me....I don't think. But all of a sudden, one of my BEST friends just stopped talking to me. Then one day she texted me, and we got back to normal for a few months, and then went back to not talking. And back again...and now we're on this not talking thing. I've texted her/called her numerous times. No response. But I always see that she's hanging out with other friends on FB when she "checks in" places....Hmph. Just weird.

  4. Oh man, your friend definitely needs to grow up! I'm laughing at all the card drama. What in the world?! Haha! I love my friends, but I can't be chasing them around making sure we're all okay all the time. If a friend steps on my toes, I either get over it (most of the time) or I say something. And I expect my friends to do the same!
